What is Think Tank: Recording in Process?

Think Tank: Recording in Process is a communal ritual for the evolution of the American Theater.

The ritual will be a creation, unpacking, and assemblage of responses to twelve questions developed by Think Tank over the course of the past year.

The responses created by YOU will be viewed, and recorded at our 6 hour live installation performance on Oct 23rd 2021.

The archive of responses will be available to the public right here, in this very corner of the internet.

That's cool …but what is Think Tank?

Created in response to COVID 19, Think Tank is an ever evolving theater focused discussion space. A community of theatre designers, stage managers, production managers, educators, directors, and an architect.  It is a space of questioning and a cauldron for big ideas.

We gather to confront, discuss and investigate big questions about theater practice.  We do this in the hope of urgent and radical transformation, and to record our past and present experiences.

Think Tank has been a fluid space - here’s who has passed through & contributed their thoughts
